Stalk the Professors

The amount of information on the internet about each of us is unfathomable. In an effort to prove this, I took up the challenge of stalking two of my professors in my class. The results truly shocked me, as I was able to gather quite a bit about each of them and their personal lives.

I started with Professor Teaff, who is a Columbus, OH native. While I could not find much about her political views, I was able to gather each school she went to, as well as her birthday and even her home address. She attended three different higher education schools, receiving a degree in each one respectively. She is also a. Member of several committees, including the Architectural Review Board in Lexington. A fact that surprised me was that she has been working in Lexington, VA for 21 years.

Next up, I stalked Professor Abdoney, who was much more public about her political views. I learned that she is a strong feminist and believes that the libraries should be closed right now due to the ongoing pandemic. I also learned that she has a 13 year old cat, can play the violin and cello, and enjoys a glass of sparkling white wine. As you can see from the timeline above, Abdoney is most likely missing the amazing Florida weather, as she spent a good part of her life there, and is in a happy relationship with her husband Ned, with whom she made a website with.

As you can see from the respective timelines, I was able to discover a great deal of information about my professors. This result truly shocked me, and it also reminded me of the trolling articles we read, because if it was this easy for me to find this information, imagine what trolls could do if they truly wanted to cause harm to anyone.
